How you can keep on giving…

Your Annual Gift Can Keep on Giving...

Did you know that you can plan for perpetual giving? It may be easier than you think!

Those who donate to charities in their community are generous people. According to Statistics Canada sources and the Canadian Centre for Philanthropy, Canadians gave more than $ 7.1 billion in support of worthwhile causes in the year 2000, an amount that increased by 9% over the previously reported $ 6.56 billion donated in 1998.

It may be surprising to learn that fully 75% of giving in Canada is done by individuals, with the remaining 25% contributed by corporations and foundations.

The LEAVE A LEGACY™ program encourages all donors to seriously consider making their current "sustaining" gifts to charity never-ending. You can ensure that your favourite charities receive the same annual support of $100, $500 or $ 1000 that you're currently giving - beyond your lifetime - through a bequest in your Will.

If you would like to create a permanent fund to support a charity or non-profit, we offer the following simple chart for your reference:
